Now Playing: Emma @ Chance Theater

Jane Austen’s enduring love story is brought to life as a romantic-comedy musical. The story revolves around Emma, a well-meaning, but disaster-prone matchmaker, who ignores her own romantic feelings while setting out to find a suitor for her friend Harriet. Her efforts go awry, of course, leading to comic complications. We invite you to fall in love again with one of Jane Austen’s most adored characters, featuring an intelligent and buoyant score from Tony-nominated composer Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre).

So far, it has been a hit with critics and audiences alike, with critics calling it "engrossing," "flawless," and a "picture perfect OC premiere." "Remarkable, mind-bending voices blend effortlessly in all the company numbers with true professional quality... A single piano, blending perfectly in the scenery, supplies the light-fingered support by Musical Director Bill Strongin." (The Show Report)

Craic at the Grand Prix!

Congratulations to Alana and Fiona, our awesomely talented Craic singers, who had the honor of opening the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 15th with their rendition of the national anthem! Taking place on the streets of Long Beach, CA since 1975, this annual event is the longest running street race in North America and regularly draws crowds in excess of 200,000 people.
Fiona later described the event:

"Yesterday truly was an amazing experience! It was so surreal to have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Grand Prix and see the flyover. They run a tight ship over there! Minute by minute schedule! We had 1 minute and 30 seconds to sing the song, beginning at 1:26pm, as the flyover was scheduled to happen at 1 minute and 32 seconds. Everything was so precise! Listening to the guy giving everyone cues, and even timing the skydivers before us! Everything was so amazing! Not to mention being on the track and seeing the cars and the race so close up. Truly such a blessed life!"

Thanks again, ladies... you know you made us proud!!!

A Busy March... and a New Album!

Hello, Craicheads! We are happy to announce that our new album, A Stor Mo Chroi, will be arriving in time for what is shaping up to be a very exciting St. Paddy's Day week! Named after the Irish folk song (a regular audience favorite!), the title translates as "Treasure of My Heart," and is one of 13 songs on the album. And just in case you'd like to ask for it by name, I'll help you out a bit with the pronunciation, as best I can - "Uh Stor Muh Kree."
The official release party will be held on Mar. 16th at Don the Beachcomber (16278 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach), and will feature a concert, new music, and new merchandise. More info can be found here:
