Craic in the Stone was fortunate to get a shout-out on the podcast “Keith’s Music Box” during the July 9 show when he spoke to acclaimed Irish Singer/Songwriter Davey Furey. The podcast also used the intro of our version of Bron-Y-Aur Stomp by Led Zeppelin as a tag - it's the first cut on our new CD, "Pub Tunes", available on our website and all streaming platforms.

Keith's Music Box is the podcast for people who are passionate about rock music. In-depth interviews with legendary and up-and-coming artists. Curated playlists that trip through the decades on an exploration of the tastiest tunes. Classic rock. Hard rock. Folk rock. Alt-rock. Soul. Modern rock. A-sides. Deep tracks.
Just released, Craic in the Stone’s fourth CD - PUB TUNES was recorded at Wellandia Studios and
features traditional Irish and Scottish songs like: “Dicey Reilly” and “Donald Where’s your Troosers,”
plus several originals in a similar vein like "We Drink When We’re Dry" and a fitting tribute to their
favorite ale, "It’s Guinness.” A fun music video was filmed at Muldoon’s Pub a while back and is
available on YouTube. But a big surprise comes right at track one with "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp,” a Led
Zeppelin classic that takes on a Celtic-Rock sound, plus a party-ready version of the Proclaimers' "I’m
Gonna Be (500 Miles).” Reflecting on the challenges we've all endured this past year is "I Will Not Be
Broken.” Penned by Nashville singer-songwriter and great friend, Mare Wakefield, this powerful
ballad has already become an instant classic.

Craic in the Stone would like to bid a fond farewell to our longtime Craic Tech and friend, Derek Epstein, as he and his girlfriend Linda (both pictured left, we'll let you figure out which is which) leave the sunny shores of SoCal for the autumn leaves of Boston, MA.

You may have seen Derek wandering around the crowd from time to time, tweaking buttons on his iPad, giving us the very best mix possible from our instruments and microphones. However, it is Linda's recent acceptance to MIT that takes them away from us to the opposite coast. Congratulations, Linda! We will never forgive you. But we'll miss you both!

Looks like our happy home base, Muldoon's Irish Pub in Newport Beach, made a recent Food Network Chefs' Picks list for Irish Pubs in the US. Of course, this is no surprise to us: Bill and Rosalynn held their rehearsal dinner here the night before their wedding back in 2014. Great food, pints of Guiness, flights of whiskey, and a short walk to the hotel where the wedding party was staying all added up to a great way to start a perfect weekend.

These two sisters have been harmonizing together since childhood as their mother, an Irish native, taught them to appreciate their rich heritage from a very young age. They've toured with the International Peace Choir as representatives of Ireland, and when we heard them sing Danny Boy for us, we knew we'd made a serendipitous find.

Of course, we're more than thrilled to have them join us, but our words alone aren't really going to do them justice. For more, check out their bios here, and be sure to come hear them sing live!
